1959: “New wing nearly doubling the size and capacity of Our Lady of Mercy Hospital, Mariemont, was completed the past week and immediately put into service. Costing more than $1,000,000, the addition brings the hospital's bed capacity to 110, all of which are located in the wing. The older part of the hospital will be used exclusively for laboratory, X-ray, and other medical and technical facilities. Sister Mary Regina, administrator, is shown observing the hospital's changed appearance.” (The Catholic Telegraph-Register, January 30, 1959)
